Forged Iron Sword vs. Cast Bronze Sword
If nothing else, this will give you a clear idea of how much more labor goes into an iron weapon than a bronze one. This makes me think that even in The Iron Age a lot of lower class weaponry (and tools!) was probably still bronze. Regardless, you may find some stuff in here that would be fun to include just for its technical interest.

Forging a Bronze-Age Sword
If you can hear this it will help. He explains that they used modern processes to save time. The same done with ancient techniques would take a lot longer. But this will give you a good idea of the process for a bronze sword. There’s another of these comparing bronze and iron that I will send if I see any merit in it after playing for myself.
